Bloomington Police search for missing 20 year old woman
The Bloomington Police Department has been searching for a missing woman since 4:30 a.m. Friday. The woman is Lauren Spierer, age 20.
She just finished her sophomore year at IU. Spierer studies fashion merchandising and was a University Division scholar.

Bloomington police man early morning roadblock
An unannounced roadblock was manned by Bloomington police early Friday morning. Police stopped all traffic traveling through the intersection of College and 10th Streets during the early morning hours, the same time period when Lauren Spierer disappeared a week ago.
Officers handed out flyers containing Lauren's photo and asked each driver their whereabouts on the morning of June 3. They also asked the drivers who travel through the intersection on a daily basis whether they had noticed anything out of the ordinary last Friday morning.

Police hope enhancement of a streetside video might provide clues in the disappearance of Indiana University student Lauren Spierer.
Capt. Joe Qualters of the Bloomington Police Department said a car, or possibly two cars, caught the attention of investigators reviewing business videos from the area where Spierer was last seen.

Searchers take new info back to Bloomington streets
- Volunteers armed with new information continued the search for Lauren Spierer Wednesday night.
"The shirt was a V-neck, bell sleeves, and she has zippers on her leggings," explained Leah Aft as she handed out a paper to volunteers.
On the flyer was a description of what Spierer was wearing the night she disappeared.
"We're also looking for rings and earrings that are part of her jewelry," Aft added.

Here’s the timeline:
1:46 a.m. — Enters Kilroy’s Sports Bar.
2:27 a.m. — Exits Kilroy’s
2:48 a.m. — Enters a North/South alley between 10th and College Apartments and 10th and College Village.
2:51 a.m. — Exits the alley, heading toward an empty lot north of 10th & College Village Apartments.
4:30 a.m. — Last seen at 11th and College Ave.

Timeline, map of missing IU student's
Bloomington police on Thursday released a timeline and map of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer’s last known whereabouts, based on surveillance footage and witness statements.
After releasing two photographs on Wednesday of a white truck circling the block near where and when Spierer was last reported seen by a friend the morning of June 3, police have been flooded by almost 300 tips. The “vast majority” of those tips concern information about white trucks, Capt. Joe Qualters said Thursday.

A security officer discovered the bag of men's and women's clothes behind an indoor trash bin on the sixth floor of the Smallwood Apartments early Friday, police told 6News' Stacia Matthews.

Bag of clothes, shoe box found at Lauren Spierer's apartment building
Friday morning, police were called to Smallwood Plaza, the apartment building of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer. Officers came out to the Smallwood Plaza Apartments and removed a bag of clothes and a shoe box, according to an apartment spokesperson. The bag and shoe box were found behind a dumpster on the 6th floor of the apartment building.
