...why would she EVER have thought that was smart? it didnt occur to her there was a reason the defendant was not part of the deliberation process? beggars belief.

Goodness.

I really did not think there was anyone on the planet who would think this was ok! It is obvious the juror was very sympathetic to the defendant.....but her decision to make contact during the deliberations boggles the mind. I don't think the juror meant any harm, but it is hard to believe she didn't know that contacting the defendant was wrong, wrong, wrong. :waitasec:
