Northern Colorado Crimestoppers is offering a reward, up to $2,000, that leads to missing fifteen year old Longmont teen Mikaela Fryberger being returned to her family.

LONGMONT, Colo. – A 20-year-old fugitive has been arrested and the 15-year-old Longmont teen with whom he has been traveling is now in police care, according to Longmont Police.

I am so very happy that this girl is okay. These teenagers have no idea the dangers they face when they take off on their own. Rules are meant to help keep them safe, if only they could understand that! I imagine her family is estatic that she is home; but they will have a long road to healing. Drugs - NEVER a good choice! You may have a choice to "do what you want" and start using; the problem is, then the drugs then take control, and you no longer have your own choice to quit.
