Colorado City and the Underground Railroad - FLDS documentary by Mike Watkiss
The real story behind Warren Jeffs and the FLDS is one that more people need to understand. Here in Phoenix, we've been hearing more about it than in most places, thanks to the tireless dedication of Phoenix-based TV reporter Mike Watkiss, with the key words being 'tireless' and 'dedication'.
The Wikipedia page about Warren Jeffs mentions, "In 2005, Phoenix television station KTVK and the station's senior reporter Mike Watkiss broadcast Colorado City and the Underground Railroad. The hour-long documentary was the most widely-viewed, locally-produced primetime news special in Arizona history. The documentary went on to win a regional "Emmy" and "Edward R. Murrow Award". The special pulls together dozens of Watkiss' reports on the practice of polygamy, the FLDS Church, and Prophet Warren Jeffs spanning more than three decades."
On YouTube, the description for these videos reads, "Veteran Reporter Mike Watkiss' Emmy and Edward R. Murrow award-winning documentary about polygamy in America and world of polygamous prophet Warren Jeffs. Exclusive and ground-breaking reporting that started a revolution and sent Jeffs and his followers running to Texas."

Thanks for posting the links. I'm going to watch the doc. It sickens me that this cult says that what they do is in the name of the Lord. To see that AP picture of the bed in the temple physically made me sick.
It infuriates me that they say this abuse is sanctioned by Heavenly Father. I'll stop before I say something that gets me a time out.
But again, thanks for the links. I'm going to go watch them now.
