Casey's Attorneys To Appeal Probation Ruling
Anthony Must Report For Probation Within 11 Days

"I think the appellate court will properly require her to serve one year of probation," Hornsby said.

"Depending on where she is, she could report to another area of Florida," Department of Corrections spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger said.

The Department of Corrections said their officers are working to iron out the details of Anthony's probation, taking into account Perry's concern over threats made against her.

Plessinger said Anthony could apply to serve her probation in another state, but she can't do that right away, and the other state would have to approve the application.

    http://www.baynews9.com/article/news...l-in-the-works

    ORLANDO --

The Los Angeles Examiner is reporting that Casey Anthony has signed a big, six figure deal to write her memoirs.

The paper quotes anonymous sources in saying that she will write the book with the help of a ghost writer.
Never regret anything, for at one time, it was exactly what you wanted

Our take on: Protecting Florida's Children committee

    Belated crusaders
Have no fear, Florida legislators are on the case. Troubled by holes in state child protection laws exposed in the recent Casey Anthony trial, lawmakers began tripping over each other with proposals to criminalize the failure to promptly report a missing or dead child.

In 2008, the year Caylee disappeared, 201 Florida kids died at hands of parents or other abusers. Didn't they merit a select committee then?
Those deaths generated far less notoriety. But their lives had no less significance.

George and Cindy Anthony set for ‘Dr. Phil’ season premiere

Dr. Phil McGraw has landed an exclusive interview with George and Cindy Anthony for the Sept. 12 season premiere of “Dr. Phil.”
The show stressed that parents of Casey Anthony “sought no compensation for their interview, asking only that a donation be made to a charitable organization currently being formed to honor their granddaughter.”

New Anthony mystery: How big is Dr. Phil’s contribution?

That left people wondering just how big that donation might be. WESH’s Bob Kealing turned to People magazine writer Steve Helling, who said the couple’s attorney had been seeking a six-figure amount for the interview. (Sources at two network news organizations told me that the Anthonys were seeking the best deal for an interview.) Helling said, “I don’t think it would be under a hundred thousand and I don’t think it will be over a half million.”
Kealing replayed a previous interview with attorney Lippman, who stressed that the couple won’t profit from their new organization, Caylee’s Fund. Kealing noted that George and Cindy Anthony are not listed as officers on the new foundation; they are listed as such on an older nonprofit, the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation.

George and Cindy Anthony: Drew Kesse blasts ‘Dr. Phil,’ couple
Caylee and Casey Anthony, Dr. Phil, George and Cindy Anthony, WOFL — posted by halboedeker on August, 17 2011 11:00 AM

Many of you were outraged that George and Cindy Anthony will be guests on the season opener of “Dr. Phil.”
One comment, however, stood out: It came from Drew Kesse, the father of missing Jennifer Kesse.
