Nick Ashford and Jerry Leiber have both passed away ~

Legendary songwriters Jerry Leiber and Nick Ashford died Monday, but they leave behind a huge legacy of rock 'n' roll and rhythm and blues classics, not to mention countless numbers of devoted fans.

Very symbolic to me that they passed away on the same day.

Rest in peace to both of who helped define music for so many decades

    The Day The Music Died

Rest in peace, Mr. Lieber and Mr. Ashford. Legendary songwriters that you were. Wonderful and talented writing. I also enjoyed the talent of Ashford and Simpson.

    RIP talented gentleman.

Always loved Mr. Leiber since he was from B-More, and that gave me pride.

Mr. Ashford? There just ain't no mountain high enough.............it amazes me how talented some people can be.
