A Chinese restaurant is offering a free meal to dining couples if they come back, still together, a year later.
Restaurant manager Chen Guang'en said the idea was to reward couples who achieved lasting love.
"Lots of young people today do not cherish their partners. They may fall in love just for fun, so many couples don't last long," he told the Southern Metropolitan News.
He takes two photographs of couples who eat at his restaurant, in Guangzhou, and who want to take part.
One copy is handed over to the lovers while the other goes on display in the restaurant. So far more than 100 couples have taken part.
