Missing woman: body found on beach
Investigators are trying to identify the a body found on the beach just south of Otter Rock on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 15, one day after police discovered a car belonging to a missing Neotsu woman parked at a nearby clifftop viewpoint.
The next morning, OSP Sergeant Greg Plummer, a walker found the body of an adult Asian female on the beach about two miles south near Spencer Creek Bridge.
Plummer said the body was without any form of identification and appeared to have been in the ocean for a few days.
He said OSP is continuing its investigation with help from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and Lincoln County Medical Examiner but has no evidence that the death is associated with a crime.
