Please remember the following:

- Be respectful of one another. We are all here for Baby Lisa. We can hold different theories of what happened to her and still disagree respectfully and advance the conversation in productive ways.
- Minors are off-limits for sleuthing or theorizing unless they are victims, or have been named POIs/suspects by LE.
- The thread topic involves the search of the home. If a topic arises that deserves its own thread, check to see if one exists and if not, start that thread up!

We are all here together because of this beautiful child:

Here's something recent that we're discussing on another thread:

America's child death shame

I think DB knows the detectives are getting close to this and that's when she started in with her defense of ignorance because she was 'drunk' and may have blacked out. To me that says "yes I killed her but now I can say I didn't remember." I don't understand why else she would say this so late in the game. If Lisa was truly missing, that first night most desperate parents would say I had been drinking, taking meds, and may have blacked out - I'm such an idiot but please find my baby. I'm saying most would probably confess this - this woman is young and scared and honestly I think she lost her cool, killed the baby and dad may have helped hide the body - probably in a river. Why she didn't just confess and say it was an accident is beyond me.

Question. Did DB not allow an extensive search of the backyard before the search warrant, or did she say she was afraid to look back there herself?

Common sense (at least mine) dictates you do not cover up an accident by staging an abduction. If DB had been 'blackout drunk' she could have waited a few hours to sober up before contacting authorities had there truly been an accident.

I just don't believe this is an accident or manslaughter...I have a bad gut feeling that DB snapped that night. Maybe due to the meds; perhaps tired, cranky, and frustrated with a fussy baby or possibly fed up with life itself. I don't know but everything in me says this is murder, plain and simple.

I just read the whole affidavit for the warrant and it really was an open one, I thought it would be. They were able to take anything they deemed necessary in finding this baby. Good for them and the judge.. Now, where are the handcuffs, I dont think I can say that enough. Not sure what else besides a body they are waiting for, now is the time to get her in for questioning and see what kind of a deal she makes. I hope this is not indicative of sleuthing anyone, but I would say anyone that might have been involved in helping DB in this scheme, it would be in their best interest to come forward now in case part of her defense besides the black out she will claim lays blame on you... I think someone if she had help, might start talking, unless its JI, then I cant see him saying a thing.

Re-posting this one for our night shift folks:

Minors who are not victims or named POIs/suspects are off-limits at WS, in terms of both sleuthing and theorizing.

Remember that what we post on the interwebs stays on the interwebs... pretty much forever. Imagine being the innocent younger sibling of a victim, and one day years later, you Google your name and find out that you were being discussed as a murderer back before you even reached double digits. Or you get to high school and one of your friends finds these speculations and spreads it around. Or your significant other looks up your name on the internet before deciding whether to get serious about planning for marriage with you, and this sort of thing comes up.

In our zeal to find out what happened to Baby Lisa, we need to balance the desire to sleuth every possible angle against the responsibility not to unintentionally cause further or future harm to her siblings' lives.

Where this post falls is random.
:tyou:

Lance - it was my understanding she said she was afraid to look back there for what she might find but didn't restrict a search. I think the baby was taken from there and moved with the help of the dad. JMHO.
She did however (DB) refuse to let detectives re-interview the kids, who may have heard/seen something. She said she didn't want them to go through that process again, but I think she's covering her arse.

I'm ready for LE to charge her and to haul her (you know what) in... The sooner the better.JMHO

correct me if I am wrong but we have..

Lisa not actually seen, accept by parents since Sunday Birthday party
Father accepts the night shift job on Monday the day of the job
Neighbor dosen't see the baby while over drinking on front step from 6:30-10:30

Something happened either Sunday night or Monday IMO

Question for the mods: I understand, no including the other kids in our theories and no active sleuthing of them. Is it okay to discuss the clicking noises that DB says she thinks one of the boys heard and things of that nature? And is it okay to include them in our theories as far as the possibility that they woke DB up that night or other possible scenarios, as long as they are not painted as suspects?

(I know, I sound like an idiot, I just don't want my hand slapped again.)

BritsKate - I agree. She drank, got frustrated and now I'm thinking banged the baby's head against the floor in her room over and over or choked her. DB's demeanor to me is one of horrible regret/sorrow and fear. Fear she will be caught and can't un-do what she did while intoxicated. I do feel sorry for her, but mostly I was hoping that poor baby was truly taken and would be returned and now it seems the most obvious thing we all feared did happen - mom lost it and killed the baby.
