Leucadia resident Cameron Remmer, 29, disappeared Oct. 9 while visiting San Francisco, prompting family members to begin a frantic search for him, a relative said Friday.

Remmer has a mental illness, and reports of erratic behavior leading up to his disappearance suggest he is unmedicated and at risk, his brother, Chris Remmer said.

Relatives became concerned about Cameron Remmer after he stopped making daily calls to family and friends on Oct. 7, Chris Remmer said. He said Cameron has never before gone missing.

With my son now missing for 3 + months life is hard and getting harder. Cameron Remmer 29 is my youngest son and we have a few leads and some investigators working to help us find him. I miss him so much. I find myself sleeping in because waking up means remembering he is missing and my stomach hurts and my mind yells out to the Universe to “COME HOME CAMERON”!! I force my feet to swing to the floor and the cold tile reminds my body to get moving.

Our family is not giving up our search for Cameron Remmer. We have a ton of notes and information. We are canvassing the surrounding businesses near the Fairmont Hotel for video footage of Oct. 6th. The SFO Inspector of missing persons agreed this week to question the last known people to see Cameron on the night of Oct. 6th

It's been so long...I think he is either living as a homeless person somewhere in California maybe or committed suicide (Golden Gate Bridge?). His poor family...

Chelsea Gladden’s five children want to know why their Uncle Cameron won’t just come home. The answer, which includes mental health issues and a two-year missing person case with no real leads, is tremendously tough for her to explain.

Cameron Remmer, one of the Breezy Mama blogger’s three brothers, was last heard from in October 2011. Her family has tried everything they couldn’t think of to find him since, including recently agreeing to take part in a television show to raise awareness about his disappearance...

“Every day my brother Cameron Remmer would call me. And my mom. And his dad. And my brother Christopher. And my brother Curtis,” Chelsea wrote in a blog post that gave me chills. “On October 6, 2011, Cameron called my sister-in-law Kim to wish her a happy birthday. He never called anyone in his family again.”

Cameron Remmer was last seen at the Fairmont Hotel on Oct. 6, 2011. Now his family hopes that a TV show reenactment of his disappearance helps find him - or at least helps his family discover what happened to him.

"It's been a crazy, frustrating two years, and we've explored everything," Remmer's sister, Chelsea Gladden, said Sunday...

The Investigation Discovery Network's series "Last Seen Alive" spotlighted Remmer's case in an episode that was to air twice on Sunday night and again on Saturday at 10 a.m.
