East Dubuque teen Chyenne Kircher missing
14-year-old East Dubuque High School freshman Chyenne Kircher told her parents she was going to a friend's house between 3-4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12.
Later that evening, about 11 p.m. a note, that appears to have been written by Kircher, was found in a car. The note indicated she was not coming home.
East Dubuque police search for missing teenager
Kircher is described as 5'4", 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black vest.
It looks as though Chyenne has run away, but since she's only 14, I personally am concerned for her safety. I thought that maybe by starting a thread here, someone who knows where Chyenne is or even Chyenne herself, might be alerted and come forward with her location.

14 is such a hard age, i hope shes safe! Come home Chyenne!!
Just posting to say I hope that Cheyenne comes home soon. 14 is far too young to be out there on her own.
Praying for Chyenne and her family!

Bump for Chyenne
No word of her as today. Doesn't seem to be anyone searching. Nobody...family....police...people have asked to search wooded areas but was told the police didnt want them too. Don;t understand what the thinking is here....I thought they should have had a media blitz on her right away to see if anyone has seen her. But I guess when they found a note, and they think she might have run away they dont get overly excited....how long does she have to be missing before they turn it to a higher authority?
Real sad... Hope she goes home... It's cold outside!
Praying for Kyron, Haleigh, and Baby Lisa...
I hope she is found soon, safe, and returns home to finish growing up. Teens feel like nobody understands and life is too hard, but running away is one of the worst solutions.
well if she has run away.....she has had help..because she is no where around this area.
how does a 14 y.o. have the wherewithall to successfully disappear?
at the risk of stating the obvious, I assume LE has checked home computers to see if she was chatting with someone online.
I'm in the next state over and I have never heard of this little girl.. Wanted to make sure I give her a good bump.. She needs some media because something doesn't sit right with me...
Praying for Kyron, Haleigh, and Baby Lisa...
Police Chief Steve O’Connell said, “There’s a very large percentage of people in this community who know Chyenne. We describe her as a social butterfly. She’s out and about and she can be anywhere in town. ”
Police say people who’ve seen her picture say they’ve spotted her in Dubuque. A recent k-9 unit search suggested the same thing.
O’Connell said, “we believe we were following some of her activities in town and some of those actually led us to Dubuque. ”
They need to be checking the homes (basements, closets, attics) of her friends and acquaintances in her age group.
I ran away from home at 13. I was gone for a week. The entire time, I was hidden out in a friends attic, less than a mile from my home. When the friends parents would leave for work during the day, I would come down into the main house. When they were home, I was secreted in the attic.
It probably would have lasted a lot longer before I was caught, except the friend hiding me couldn't resist the urge to skip school and her absence from school raised red flags and caused the police to come and search the house.
My prayers are with her family, who must be worried sick. I hope she is found soon and whatever triggered this rash and dangerous move can be resolved.
