Authorities in far eastern Oklahoma say they are searching for a baby girl's body after two people were arrested on multiple charges of child abuse and endangerment.

An application for exhumation of a body filed Tuesday by Smith's office alleges that one of nine siblings taken into emergency custody by the state told investigators of alleged abuse by their father.

From cc81's link above:

One of the siblings also told police she had a baby at home in 2010, delivered by her father. The girl told authorities the father allegedly buried the baby on the property, "in the woods behind the goat pen."

only thing I can find so far is that ONE AP article repeated on a couple news pages

From fhc's link above:
It is unclear who fathered the baby, but the girl told investigators the father was a boy she met at camp. The birth and death of the child have not been recorded with the state of Oklahoma.

From fhc's link above:

This is shocking!

investigators found the couple’s nine children in “extreme physical and educational neglect,” police said.
Leflore County District Attorney Jeff Smith the children had very little education and may have never been to school. Authorities are currently checking for birth certificates to see if the children have been registered with the state.

Officially, these 9 children may not even have birth certificates...and never attended public school!!! Legally, they don't exist? What country are we in?

We're in Oklahoma country!

Here we go with yet another horrendous case of children being mistreated, babies being birthed without recording the birth or death and some SOB who was charged many years ago with incest who seemingly did no time at all.

A young girl told police her baby was born in 2010 and delivered by her father. The dad said the baby didn't cry and was born dead. He buried the baby. This poor child told police the baby may have belonged to a boy she met at camp.

Nine children were recovered from this he** hole. One child is in especially bad shape.

despicable.....wonder what the story is with her real mother.

How does this continue to go on in a civilized population?

Wow. How awful...I'm at a loss for words.
