WI - Miles Leppla, 91, Cedarburg, 4 Oct 2011
Police have conducted air searches, checked homeless shelters and distributed flyers, all with no luck in finding Miles Leppla of Cedarburg.
He was last seen by neighbors on Oct. 4 as he drove away from his home. That was unusual because he never drove at night, said his granddaughter, Shannon Morrison. He also has no history of leaving unannounced, or of any dementia or mental illness, she added.

CEDARBURG — Relatives of a 91-year-old man who disappeared a month ago said Friday that they are concerned about foul play. But police aren't ready to go that far, acknowledging the possibility but saying it's only one of many they're considering.

His family is also suspicious of foul play because Leppla follows a very strict routine everyday, never drives in the late afternoon, and never leaves a room without turning the lights off; when he vanished, all of the lights in his Cedarburg home were turned on. The police haven’t decided that it was foul play yet; they are considering all of the other possibilities as well.
