"An Independence man was sentenced to 15 years for distributing child *advertiser censored* over the internet. Kenneth P. Luckey, 38, of Independence, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Greg Kays in federal court on Thursday to 15 years in federal prison without parole...."

"...Luckeys child *advertiser censored* use and distribution was initially brought to light by the complaints of an 8-year-old girl to whom he allegedly exposed himself. According to the governments court filing, Luckey had been discussing with an apparent 16-year-old called "Amanda" on the Internet his attraction to and attempted grooming of the 8-year-old. Luckey expressed his hopes and plans to advance his sexual interaction with the 8-year-old, but law enforcement was able to step in before Luckey accomplished that....."

"...Luckey discussed such topics as the best places to try to pick up underaged girls and using his webcam to transmit images of himself masturbating for the girl. He also discussed possibly approaching other girls in the 8-year-old girls Scout troop. Luckey had helped out with the Girl Scouts and had been talking about being a Girl Scout leader...."
