DESCRIPTION: Caucasian female adult, 5-04, 200 lbs, with brown/graying hair. (Photo attached)
INFORMATION:
On November 8, 2011 at approximately 11:00 AM, Santa Cruz Police received a report of a missing adult at risk. The missing adult, Madeline Benitez, was last seen by coworkers on October 29th in the area of Clares Street and 41
Ave. in the City of Capitola. Officers completed a search of Ms. Benitez apartment and did not find any obvious signs of foul play. Ms. Benitez has a history of mental illness, and has not been taking her prescribed medication.
Ms. Benitez may be in the company of an acquaintance named Randy, who is believed to be homeless and who frequents the City of Capitola. He is described as a white male adult in his mid 50s, 5-08 to 5-10 tall, with a
slender build and a brown/grey beard. Due to her history of mental illness and that fact that Ms. Benitez has not been taking her prescribed medication,
she is considered at risk.
Anyone who sees, or has seen/had contact with Ms. Benitez since October 29th is urged to call 911.
