    TX - Angela Abbrederis, 27, Dallas, 2 April 1996

    Name: Angela Abbrederis
AKA: Angela Kim Marie Abbrederis, Nagela Kimmarie Ng, Mei Ling, Audra Abbrederis, and/or Vanessa Abbrederis.
    Case Number: M9610009
Case Type: Endangered - Foul Play Possible
Last Seen in: Dallas (Dallas County)
    Last Seen on: 4/2/1996
    Height: 5' 8 "
    Weight: 115-120 lbs.
    Age Missing: 27
    Eye Color: Brown
    Hair Color: Brown
    Date of Birth: 10/25/1968
Race: White/Asian - although she is listed as White/Hispanic on some sites
    Sex: Female
    State Missing From: Texas
    Country Missing From: USA

Circumstances: Angela has a tattoo of a butterfly on her right hip, a scar on her hip and has had breast augmentation. She was known to work in various men's clubs as a dancer. The day of her disappearance she didn't take her vehicle or any clothing. Her dog was also left behind in her apartment. Dental and x-rays are available.

Abbrederis was last seen in Dallas, Texas on April 2, 1996. She left her vehicle behind and did not take any of her personal belongings from her residence, including her clothes, luggage and car keys. Abbrederis also left her dog unattended inside her apartment. There was laundry left in the washing machine and piled on the bed, which Abbrederis's mother says is uncharacteristic of her daughter. There were also what appeared to be bloody fingerprints near the front door, but the "blood" turned out to be paint. Abbrederis has never been heard from again.

Abbrederis' boyfriend emptied their joint checking account after her disappearance, signed one of her cars over to himself, and withdrew money from her savings account. He told police that he jointly owned all of what he took. Investigators say the boyfriend's actions do not necessarily mean he was involved in Abbrederis's disappearance.

Abbrederis worked in various Dallas clubs as an exotic dancer at the time of her 1996 disappearance. She also has a history of prostitution. Her mother believes she was the victim of foul play. Abbrederis has family members living in Michigan and Hong Kong. She is an Army veteran. Her case remains unsolved.

    Case History
On June 11, 1998, a man was walking in a wooded area behind his home in the 600 block of Airline Drive when he observed what appeared to be the top portion of a skull protruding from the ground.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputies investigated and recovered additional skeletal remains. The additional bones were determined not to be of human origin.

What appears to be a mounting hole was drilled into the cranium. The remains resemble other skulls that have been determined to be skull war trophies collected during Asian military action.

The remains were originally believed to be those of a male, however, DNA analysis in September 2010, has confirmed that they are those of a female.

The location and age of the victim and the UID are appropriate... I've been looking for an Asian Doe with breast implants (as for a match to Abbrederis), but this works because only the skull was recovered.

Also, Abbrederis' facial bone structure/jawline is a bit square, which might explain why they were under the impression Doe was an Asian male for a while.

LE estimates that Doe was deceased for 3+ years, but I question that because if there was a hole drilled/bored into the skull for mounting purposes, it was probably cleaned and prepared for such (like a hunter with a trophy mount?), thus leaving little to no residual soft tissue in the skull or on the bone.

Please provide feedback if you have any.

Mods, if you need to make this a sticky thread, feel free. Do whatcha need to do. I'm still new here, and am just good at digging for information and posting it. I am still unfamiliar with all your protocol and procedure, so please forgive me if my amateur is showing.

    Thanks

It's a good shout, a very good shout but is being hamstrung by the details on the decedent. The body was decomposed but Angela's breast implants wouldn't have. I'd call it in if I was you and mention the implants, maybe they were noted in the post mortem but not uploaded to the database as there clearly hasn't been a huge amount of effort put into that profile - hopefully it'll be amended soon.

I noticed that so was trying to find out more information on the deceased. Seems like her file was lost on only recently found. Hope more WS members will join the conversation.

The only identifier for Angela listed at NamUs is Dental information / charting is available and will be entered later. No DNA or FP listed. (No breast augmentation noted at NamUs either, though.)

At this link is an article from 1996 with information on Angela's family. It states Angela is the 2nd of 4 daughters. Angela Abbrederis, 1996, Texas - Cold Case Investigations

Today is 18 years that Angela has been missing. I wonder if a DNA sample is available from either of her parents or any of her siblings.

    Exclamation Possible UID Match Reported!

Hi all, I may have found a possible match between Angela and a UID found by two boys while fishing one private property in Fall's County, Texas. Please read this copy of my email to the investigating authorities in Texas: Some of it is edited as the family (at this time) has not been contacted for further questions.

    Hello Officer XXXXX,

Thank you for taking the time to examine this information. I believe you will find it to be very compelling and hopefully, we can help bring some closure to a family who is looking for answers and advance the hunt for a killer in your area.

Officer XXXXX, I'm a member of a couple of Internet websites that tries to solve missing persons and un-identified body cases. Many of the cases are very old and have remained unsolved for decades.. The government also, has a website called " NAMUS.GOV " and when you are a member, you sometimes get updates on cases you might be tracking. I received a notification to an old case, yesterday (July 22, 2015) and after reviewing the changes, I noticed another case that was also listed there. It was for a body found in "Falls County" Texas, in the year 2000.

I noticed the victim's age was listed as between 18 and 99 years old. That struck me as odd , so I clicked on the link to read more of the details.

    Here is the link: https://identifyus.org/en/cases/3514

I had an almost immediate suspicion that the lady found was probably Asian and I thought that it was odd for her to be found in Texas in a "Stock Tank" (horse trough?) Also, the "Yellow Metal" heart shaped pendant with the dragon and bird (phoenix) seemed like it might be unique enough that maybe a Missing Person's report might mention it. So I googled the details of the pendant and found a few possible matches.

This one really stood out but is for sale at over $580 dollars! : https://www.etsy.com/listing/2118137...FYcCaQodP90Dcg

The article about the $580 pendant gave me my next lead. The description says it's a "vintage item from the 1960's and it was purchased in Hong Kong ca. 1960!" It's 24K Gold. (Yellow Metal.)

I the searched for additional sites for more information of the found body and articles in Falls County and I found THIS poster! : http://doenetwork.org/cases/518uftx.html

It has images of the actual pendant found found with the remains and it is an exact match to the vintage one I found for sale. I then noticed the Police Sketch of what the authorities believe the victim would have looked like.

    LINK: http://doenetwork.org/cases/images/518UFTX_LARGE.jpg

By now, I started thinking I can narrow the search to a missing woman from Hong Kong that might have been visiting in Texas. So, I Googled "missing woman" "Texas" and "Hong Kong" and I used the Image search tab.

Almost immediately, I found this possible match:

    Lonk: http://doenetwork.org/cases/1547dftx.html

Her name is/ was "Angela Abbrederis." She disappeared in 1996. The unidentified remains were found in 2000. As you can see in the Missing Person's report, she had family (Mother and sister) in Michigan and (sister and Father) in "Hong Kong!"

I believe that her family would be able to identify Angela by the necklace. Angela's picture is very similar to the Police sketch (see attached.) Especially since, the lower jawbone was missing when the drawing was made.

I have tried to reach the Family of Angela (NG) Abbrederis through faceBook and by phone - to ask them if any of them might be able to recognize the necklace. I have not had any contact with them yet.

Here is the contact information that I have:

    (OMITTED)

Officer, Please look further into this possible match for me. I sincerely believe the body found in Falls County is that of Angela Abbrederis and I also believe that the person responsible for her death needs to be identified, found and held accountable.

Please contact me if I can be of any more help at all.

Chuz, I hope and pray you are right. I'm just seeing too many inconsistencies for it to be the same person. The top lip does not match. Jaw line looks totally different. Ears don't appear to match, and I know this is a recon, so don't let me burst your bubble. Great sleuthing! Keep us updated?

Yes, I should have an update very soon. As far as the recon sketch. Did you not see the comment in my post that the lower jawbone was missing? The artist had to pretty much guess on the lower half of the face.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about her race. She has been listed as white, hispanic, white hispanic, asian , white and asian. In the article I linked above, her mother said she is Eurasian.
The unknown lady is listed went from unknown race to Hispanic to Hispanic with Asian admixture. Interesting.
Hoping that both cases are resolved sooner than later.

From what I understand it could takes months for DNA to come back. Hoping that it happens faster for this one.
