Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

Today, a judge read the charges facing Parsons. He did not enter a plea because his public defender is an acquaintance of his family. A new public defender was appointed and the hearing continued until next Wednesday.

After Cassie got into the passenger seat, she says Parsons drove and police started to chase them. It was then she says Parsons confessed to murdering his stepfather because she would not date him. "I was speechless. I just said what? What do you mean? I asked him if he was gonna hurt me and he said no, he could never hurt me because he loved me too much. Just said he wanted to see my face one more time before he killed his self. That was all he kept saying."

Sometime during a two-county crime spree two weeks ago, Nathan Parsons wrote a letter to the Ku Klux Klan asking to join the organization. Parsons later confessed to the murder of his stepfather and the abduction of a woman he wanted to date. More details about the case are coming out as it gets ready to go to a grand jury. Local 12's Deborah Dixon says the Clermont County prosecutor is thinking death penalty, but first he wanted to give the victim's family a reality check.

    From July 2012:

Nathan Parsons, the 30-year-old man who was charged with killing his step-father in Goshen and kidnapping a woman in Brown County last year, was sentenced to life in prison without parole July 20.

Defense and prosecuting attorneys presented the plea agreement to Judge Jerry McBride in court July 20, halting the preparations for a jury trial that was planned for September.
