How terribly sad. The little boy will probably never forget this trauma. I hope he does get some counseling.
 
Poor little baby boy. I sure hope he's in good hands now.

I'm confused about the reporting. Do they believe it was a suicide or no?

Oh bless that little boy! This was my greatest fear in my years as a single parent...

(I wonder why had hadn't been taught to call 911 yet? Four is old enough, imo.)

I hope there are some loving comforting arms for him to recover in.

Question: If the couple were going to answer an ad, they must have spoken to someone that day, yes? How could they have spoken to the dad, if the son said it had been 2 days that he couldn't wake his father?
 
I missed where the pair spoke with someone to set the appointment to look at the room that day? I just figured they must have set the appointment up earlier in the week at a mutually convenient time. Not all appointments are made the same day or the day before.
