11/30/2011 Houston - Female body found in vacant lot
Very little information has been reported so far. The location is along hwy 59 just south of I-610 and about two miles east of I-45, near the Eastex Fwy and the North Loop. A work crew clearing a lot found the remains.
Woman's body found in vacant lot in northeastern Houston
The remains were found Wednesday afternoon on Neches Street near the Eastex Freeway and the North Loop.
Police said a crew hired to clear vegetation from the lot, located in the 5000 block of Neches, found the partial, skeletal remains around 1:30 p.m

I don't know, Katydid. There's a long list of possibilities. The location is out of the way for Hailey, but anything's possible.

12-21-2011, 12:13 AM #7HPD says she was 31. "At this time, investigators have been unable to locate any family members or receive information on the woman's whereabouts prior to her being found deceased," police say.A parole review date is set for July 21, 2012 for Fred Howard Coffey.
Coffey was convicted of the murder of 10 yr old Amanda Marie Ray, NC. He admitted to molesting 300 children.
Please write a letter on behalf of Amanda.

Officials are asking the public to help them identify a woman whose skeletal remains were found in a wooded area near a vacant house in northeast Houston earlier this year.
Officials said she is between 35 years old and 55 years old. She is between 5 feet and 5 feet, 5 inches tall. Her teeth are in poor condition. Some teeth are missing and the remaining teeth have decay.

A black leather Nike athletic shoe was found near her body. Also found with her was a silver cross pendant on a silver chain. The cross was engraved in Spanish."
