The Los Angeles Police Department says they are focusing on the last batch of women depicted in photographs seized from the residence of Grim Sleeper serial killer, Lonnie Franklin Jr. Of the initial 180 females whose images were included in Franklin's extensive collection, a "Final Forty-Eight" are the last to be identified, and possibly counted among his victims, says the LAPD.

"Unfortunately, as the photo grouping continues to be reduced, the likelihood that the women were victimized by Lonnie Franklin increases," note authorities.

They may have figured out who she is but cannot track her down. D Johnson is probably really common too.

Per the LAPD poster, she is not only unfound but unidentified. It's not just the police. You'd think someone she knew or worked with could come forward given what her job seems to have been, the quality of the picture, and the nametag. Yet there she is in the "Final 48." ????

There are 42 photos in the poster now.

It looks like they've finally identified the white woman who was in the same photo with a child.

Number 39 is still there in the updated version of the poster of the as-yet-unidentified persons on the LAPD site. There are currently 42 photos.

#39 isn't there anymore.

I assume the women that are no longer there they have identified as being alive because his victim list hasn't grown, correct?

I would say that yes they have been identified if the pictures have been taken down. I wouldn't assume that it means they are alive - they could be missing or deceased but they are not ready to announce this yet.

Hey, I am not quite sure where to put this on this thread, but this girl may of had been a victim of LF, being that she was abducted by an African male in a car with a description strikingly similar to LF. I know this occurred in the bay area of California, but who knows where LF really was at the time for sure.

Is there somebody who followed the identified/unidentified status of the women in the pictures and can come up with it. I would love to know and would safe me the time to figure it out. I found dozens of sites with the pictures, but they seem don't seem to be up-to-date.
