Article with info on April Barnett. ANOTHER frozen one! Remember ther was evidence that.Anna Marie Patterson's body was frozen for nearly a month.

April Barnett of Akron. Barnett, whose frozen body was found at an Interstate 71 rest stop west of Akron in December 1986, is among the 12 murder victims in an investigation by Ohio's Interstate Homicide Task Force.

Toledo, OH unsolved - Victoria Collins, Heidi Theisen and more

Serial Killers, victims invisible to outsiders

BY ROBIN ERB AND ERICA BLAKE
    BLADE STAFF WRITERS
    Toledo Blade
    Published: 10/24/2006

In Lake Township, two cases continue to stymie investigators. One of them, Victoria Collins, an exotic dancer from Cleveland whose naked, frozen body was found in 1996, most likely died elsewhere but was dumped in Lake Township, Mr. Helm said.

It has been almost 10 years since Helen Zedaker learned that her pregnant daughter's body was discovered partially clothed on a Spencer Township farm. Left in a watery ditch for several days, Heidi Theisen's only injuries indicated she'd been asphyxiated.

For cross reference, here's another thread on the Highway Serial Killer Initiative.

Highway Serial Killings Initiative - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

In this thread, please limit cases to Ohio and I-75. It would be helpful to add victims' and suspects' names as titles in posts and as tags. This will make it much easier to sort out later.

Unless I've overlooked something, I don't think we can conclude the victims were "refrigerated". One was for sure. The other two were frozen, it's true. But that could be a result of being left outside in the elements.

That's true. We shouldn't conclude that. However this article says (@ Anna Marie Patterson.)

" An autopsy revealed that she had been killed within 48 hours of her disappearance. Disturbingly, the condition of her body clearly indicated that the killer had kept it refrigerated for nearly a month. "

    http://www.unsolved.com/ajaxfiles/mu...ial_killer.htm

So I was thinking maybe he kept them in a refrigerated trailor. Just speculation on my part. I should probably delete the above post so people don't assume that's correct. Thanks Bessie. I thought I'd have fresher eyes today and I do but my brain is muddled!

So, I've joined a truckers forum, thinking it may be a good place to get ideas, insight, maybe even jog some memories.

    http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tru...ml#post3274369

You don't have to be a trucker to join if anyone else is interested in using the site to cul information.

This is the post I made.

This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.

Geraldo Rivera also covered the case at least twice - once on his show Geraldo and then again on Now It Can Be Told.
