Abushaqra's Mercedes was found in a Main Street parking lot Thursday morning, according to police, who are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to call them at (860) 645-5510.

Abusqhaqra, who goes by the name "Harry," is the father of six children, including four who were born in April 2010 at UConn Health Center. The delivery marked the hospital's first quadruplets in about a dozen years, according to reports.

Mysterious Missing Man Case Leads to Sealed File Request

It was friendly advice, but scary. Manchester attorney Ryan Barry was warned by a judge that he ought to be worried about his personal safety. "These people play for keeps," the jurist warned. "You have a family."

The judge wasn't specific about what he meant by "these people." It was in the context of Barry's research into the mystery-shrouded disappearance of Manchester businessman Haidar Mustafa Abushaqra on Dec. 7, 2011. As such, the judge might have been referring to international money launderers, drug smugglers, Palestinian liberationists or ruthless criminals.

For the past two years, Barry has been attempting to get a judge to hear his evidence about the intrigue-filled Abushaqra case without having to present it openly in court.

In an interview, Barry said he that he too believes Abushaqra is still alive. Barry said he's seeking the opportunity to submit his documentation and memorandum of law under seal so a court of law can determine whether circumstances exist which "as the Practice Book rule says, override the public's interest in viewing such materials." •

Sept 13, 2023 -I'm hoping this is an approved source; it's a good write-up of his disappearance
