IN - Margaret Ann Hayes, 22, Bloomington, 10 Mar 1977
Margaret Ann Hayes was a student at Indiana University. She went out to buy cigarettes at a store four blocks from her home. She bought the cigarettes, but then she disappeared. Here's a link to the Charley project page for her:
Now that there is another case in the same area (Lauren Spierer), I thought it would be appropriate to add Margaret's name to this forum.

I found another link regarding the disappearance of Margaret Ann Hayes:
The link has a picture of the rooming house where Margaret lived prior to her disappearance.
Maragret also has a page on the Doe Netowrk for her:

Circumstances of Disappearance
Margaret was last seen on March 10, 1977 leaving her Atwater Street rooming house where she lived about 11:00 PM.
She took with her, her last semester student identification card for Indiana University, her contact lenses, and enough money to buy a pack of cigarettes.
She left behind in her orderly apartment, all her clothes, her luggage, toilet articles, check books, $13 in cash, and her glasses.
She walked about 4 blocks and bought the cigarettes at the former Caveat Emptor on Indiana Avenue. She was never seen again.
"Margie" had come to Bloomington about four years earlier to attend Indiana University.
She did not return to school after the fall term of 1976, and at the time of her disappearance she was working for a family as a cleaning girl three days a week. She had worked at this residence the same day of her disappearance.
Margie last contacted her parents on February 20, 1977, and had visited them in January.

Bumping for Margaret. Sad to see no press coverage.
