GUILTY OK - Karen, 58, & Shawn Ott, 34, shot to death, Garvin County, 12 Dec 2011

Bodies have been found inside a home in Garvin County, an undersheriff confirmed to Eyewitness News 5.
The authority told KOCO.com that a "few bodies" had been found in a home along Airline Road.

Undersheriff Jim Mullett said deputies were asked by family members to make a welfare check about 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at a house near Airline and Klondike roads in Garvin County.

Just how two Garvin County residents died is currently under investigation by the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Undersheriff Jim Mullet, the Sheriff’s Office received a call shortly before noon from a concerned family member and asked the Sheriff’s Office to check on the welfare of a family member.

Deputies were dispatched to a mobile home located in the Westridge Mobile Home Park on Klondike and Air Port Road.

“Upon entering the residence we immediately found one subject who had deceased,” Mullet to the News Star.

Mullet said deputies also discovered another dead body in another room of the mobile home.

“We immediately exited the residence and secured it as crime scene. We are currently waiting to get a search warrant so we can go back into the residence and begin our investigation,” Mullet said.

Mullet said the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been called in to aid in the investigation.

Sheriffs deputies responded to a check welfare call Wednesday afternoon and found a man and woman dead inside. There was trauma to one of the bodies.

Deputies have secured the house and are working to obtain a warrant so they can search the home.

The sheriff is calling this suspicious but deputies are not actively looking for any suspects.

Sheriff Larry Rhodes said one of the bodies has trauma on it but that further details were not yet available.

"It's certainly suspicious," Rhodes said. "Each time we have a death investigation and, as early as we are into this, we haven't determined any cause of death."
