While Afghanistan seems a bigger quagmire than ever. But I guess we can only hope to end one war at a time...

I have very mixed feelings about this.

I am a Veteran of the Iraq war. I did two tours over there.

I just don't know what to feel, lol

    I cannot explain it

I am elated yet sad, forgiving yet resentful, and more.

One day I am sure that I will have worked this out.

Well, I'd like to say Welcome Home, and Merry Christmas-- I'm sure there is a lot of elation filled anticipation and joyous reunions happening this very moment. Bless them all.

I just hope there's some work for them (when they're ready), now that they're home.

First of all, thank you for your service to the country and all of us.

I would think mixed feelings are being experienced by a lot of the men and women that were in Iraq now that it is over and you think back about all you went through.

Best wishes to you in working things out for the future.

Thank you for your service, q64ceo. I know at times it can seem like a thankless job, but we are a military family, and I am currently a military mom, so my thanks to you comes from a military mom's heart. Glad you're back home, safe and sound! Have a wonderful Christmas!

The war hasn't really ended because it's all the War on Terror. Only the fighting on one front has ended.
This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.

Good for all the families that get to have their loved ones come home and I'm happy for those that are coming home.

And tempering that happiness is the worry about where they will work, how they will get care that they need when benefits are being slashed for them, and who will our conflict crazy government invade next in the name of the war on terror?
    JMO. Unless there's a link, I can't prove it.

I am so glad to see these men and women come home to their loved ones. I hope that the ones who are injured get the help they need. That's is not only physically but mentally. They have seen so much sadness, poverty, injuries and death. So please don't think that their coming home ends our obligation to them. We all must make sure they have access to medical and financial help. Donate where you can.
It's almost been a year since we did our last show.Jay Bush my partner has been auditioning for the show Shark Tank and so this has put the show on hold. If he gets on Shark Tank, we will be terribly delayed. Good luck Jay. Either way we will one day continue the show and have the coolest global independent radio station out there. This is just a small video we did with one of our artists.Waiting for One and their tune 35 years. Check it out.

The last U.S. soldiers rolled out of Iraq across the border to neighboring Kuwait at daybreak Sunday, whooping, fist bumping and hugging each other in a burst of joy and relief.
I snipped the only sentence IMHO in the above article that is important. (well at least to me and my family if you disagree it's okay I'm cool with it )
