NY - Level 3 Sex Offender Impersonates Cop, Assaults Teen Boy
Creepy mugshot alert.
Steven Pappas not out of prison "'bout a month" impersonated a New York police officer to coerce a 15 year old Brooklyn boy into his van where he sexually assaulted him.
Pappas had gotten away, but thanks to tips and a dead on IMO sketch of this "person" he was caught after a short chase.

In 2009 Steven Pappas already a convicted RSO comadeered a city owned parking lot in New York and posed as a parking lot attendant. This guy likes to play pretend alright.
On his second day "on the job" police approached Pappas who fled, but he left behind a soda can with DNA. Amen for DNA.
Fair to say Mr. Pappas can't or won't follow rules?

Gah! Still on the registry as being locked up. These things take time, right?
In 2000 assault of a 14 year old by forcible compulsion.
Poor kids. Prayers that they will get the help needed after being harmed by this fiend.

What is it going to take for these officials to understand that you can not rehab a sex offender? If they do this once, they should NEVER have another chance to do it again. This guy just proves my point!
At least the boy survived and was able to give good details about the convicts description.
SICKOS!!! I'm so tired of all of this crime against children! This post is my opinion only unless supported with a link.
WHERE IS SKY METALWALA?
MISSING SINCE 6 NOVEMBER 2011 when his mother ALLEGEDLY left him in a locked car.
She has been uncooperative with law enforcement and has seemingly moved on with her life.

Bad enough the badge this twisted freak used to lure this poor kid is a duplicate of an officer that is on active duty, but two years ago they guy did the same EXACT thing.
A teen boy came to police to tell them a man brandished a badge and "arrested" him for littering and sexually assaulted him. Police did not believe the victim. Worse of all? Same exact subway station he did this to the present victim.
Sadly I am betting there's several more young men out there that were accosted.

If I were Commissioner Kelly, I don't think I would be saying right now that Special Victims people are trained extremely well in judging credibility, considering the 12 year old apparently was not believed. The stories of 12 year old and 15 year old sound so similar- maybe these Special Victims people need some more training.Just my opinion
