KS - Timothy McGuigan, 61, banker, Wichita, 6 Sept 2011
Wichita police have requested the public's assistance in helping with three unsolved murders this year. The most baffling appears to be the murder of 61 year old Timothy McGuigan, shot in him home.
video at link.
McGuigan, 61-year-old senior vice president at Kansas State Bank, was found shot to death at his home in northeast Wichita shortly before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police have said there was no clear motive for the shooting. There was no sign of forced entry at his house in the 2500 block of North Woodridge, no sign of a struggle, and no indication any property or valuables had been taken, they said.
By all descriptions, Mr. McGuigan was a well-liked man who participated actively in the community.Any man's death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
Therefore, send not to know, for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee.

From October 2012:
The murder of Wichita banker Tim McGuigan more than a year ago has investigators baffled. Family and friends announced an offer of more than $20,000 for clues...
Detectives say McGuigan had lived in a quiet neighborhood in the 2500 block of North Woodbridge for about five weeks before his death. Police say there was no sign of a break-in or a robbery.
