This white male, 35-45 years old, was found October 18th 1987 in Laughlin, Nevada, floating in the Colorado River near the Rock Point between the Nevada Hotel and Pioneer Hotel/casino. Believed to be a transient. Height 68 inches, weight 135 pounds. He had dark brown hair, graying at the temples and a thick mustache. His eyes are "probably brown".
Medically he had a lot going on.
Left thoracotomy scar, 17 inches long, from the left sternal border extending laterally and posteriorly to the interscapular area of the back.
There was a 4" scar on the base of the left side of the neck, above and roughly parallel to the clavicle.
There were two small apparent drain scars present in the left lateral chest.
Cast on lower right arm which extended from the fingers, up to just below the elbow.
His tattoos include a faint, crude oval consisting of a series of dots on right upper arm, initials WR on the right forearm. and a small heart on the right wrist.
He was wearing blue jeans. Dentals are available, lots of antemortem loss and some other features. His DNA is in Codis. No fingerprints.

Missing from Florida since 1983 which is a 4 year difference and a lot of distance which is not great but not impossible if the decedent was indeed a transient. They can get far in four years.
He was 26 when he disappeared which would make him 30 years old in 1987. It's a little below the estimated range.
His height 5ft 8 inches is an exact match. His weight is160 pounds, not too far off, he could have lost some weight if he was a transient.
His photo matches the UID's description, brown hair and a mustache.
His eyes are described as green which I think might pass for "probably brown". They look pretty dark in the photo.
His initials match the WR tattoo.
Charley and DN have no information about the circumstances of his disappearance and no indication if he had any medical problems or tattoos but he could have got both after he disappeared.
He is not in Namus and CP and DN don't indicate if he has DNA or dentals on file.
