Crawford County Residents Locked Toddlers In Shed While They Partied
Five adults were arrested and detained after police said they locked three young children in a shed while they partied.
Police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence off Tate Road in Crawford County late Tuesday night. A caller reported that a female had been struck in the head during a party.
Upon arrival, officers heard children screaming from somewhere on the property . . . and it continues!

Upon arrival, officers heard children screaming from somewhere on the property. After a brief search, officers found children aged 1, 2 and 4 locked in a shed approximately 100 yards from the house. Also inside were two beds and a thermometer that read 45 degrees, according to a statement from Crawford County Sheriff Randy Martin.
A woman who was struck in the head was found unconscious in a mobile home on the property.

William L. Kerley, charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, bond $10,000
Jackie L. Spanglo, three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a child, $10,000 bond
Lorri J. Kerley Ferguson, three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Resisting Arrest, and Assault on an Officer, bond $10,000
Harold Floyd Kerley Jr., three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and tampering with evidence, bond $10,000
Jonathan Kenneth Kerley, three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, bond $10,000
Ricki A. Sturgeon, three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, bond $10,000.

Police in Crawford County said they have charged six adults after officers found three small children in a shed behind a Cuba, Missouri home while the adults partied inside.
Cuba Police were called to a residence after reports that a woman who had been injured during a dispute.

While I IN NO WAY believe it's ok to lock children in a shed EVER, after I got a look at the adults I think the kids might have been better off in the shed than at that party.
People. If you don't want to take care of your kids, get a sitter. If you can't afford a sitter, then stay home and play a game or watch a movie with your kids. If you have kids and they are just messing up your party-life, PLEASE give them to somebody who thinks they are more important than drugs and alcohol. Some people are just not cut out to be parents. If that's the case, STOP HAVING BABIES and make sure the one(s) you already have do not suffer because of your selfishness or inadequacies.
Please. We are BEGGING you.
