Young men. School. Different neighborhoods. Facebook. The mix turned deadly in Philadelphia after a stepfather of three boys opened fire into a car loaded with seven teenagers.

Axel Barreto aged 41 has been arrested in the murder of two teens and the injury of one after his stepsons had a continuing fight with some guys at school. It appears the teens came looking for trouble and met with Barreto who just up and opened fire into the packed car.

Meanwhile the Mayor is asking can't we have just one day without violence? He then let out with some curses including asking kids to not act like ***h****.

RIP young men. Kids. Two young kids dead. No doubt there's going to be retaliation.

Rode behind a Chevy Suburban tonight with RIP Donti on it, 12/13/97 - 1/11/12.

senseless, all of it. Not one of those children should of been out riding around late on a school night, looking for trouble, then a grown man got to shoot children for what? I don't always agree with Nutter, but he hit it spot on.

PHILADELPHIA - An outraged Mayor Michael Nutter lashed out after three 14-year-olds in his city were killed, calling the shooter "a dog," "idiot" and "*advertiser censored**hole." He also fumed at the dead boys' parents for not adequately supervising their children, saying that "their little butts" should have been in bed.

The mayor's on-camera remarks came after a 30-year-old stepfather opened fire on a car full of kids who came over to fistfight with his three stepsons Tuesday night, according to police, reported NBCPhiladelphia.com. A source told NBC Philadelphia that Axel Barreto confessed to firing shots at the car, killing three teenagers inside. He was arrested Wednesday night in a Bensalem, Pa., motel.

Somebody dimed the guy out. I was thinking if you went hiding why would you only go to Bensalem? Here if the press is correct the guy was with his mistress.

It's immensely senseless. There's memorials and vigils and the candles and the teddy bears and the cars with their rear windshields emblazzoned with RIP as Snacks said. None of that brings back these now three dead young men.

Axel Barreto - the Juniata Park man charged in last year's killing of three members of a teen gang menacing his stepson - was found guilty on three counts of first-degree murder Friday by a Philadelphia jury...

The night of the shooting, McMahon said, the Toyota had been cruising in front of Barreto's house trying to lure his stepson out to fight.

Barreto fetched a semiautomatic pistol and went into an alley behind the house where he spotted the idling Toyota. Witnesses said Barreto fired 10 to 12 shots at the car at close range as the driver frantically tried to speed away.

The judge sentenced Axel Barreto to three consecutive life sentences for the murder of three teens last year behind his Juniata Park home.
