Praying this is not a new round of The Troubles kicking off:

Two explosions at separate locations in Londonderry
---
The blasts were reported at Strand Road, close to the DHSS office, and at the tourist centre in Foyle Street.

There are no reports of any injuries. Homes and businesses in both areas have been evacuated following two telephone warnings earlier on Thursday.

I'm not far down the road from Derry. It seems this is the same sorry band of dissident republicans who have been sporadically engaging in violence for years. Thankfully nobody was killed, and you can forget any danger of a new round of the Troubles. They're a damn nuisance, but they number maybe a few dozen people and dwindling. The rest of us have moved on into the 21st century, they still think its 1916.

Hopefully the PSNI will catch those responsible before they do manage to carry out a terrorist attack that kills someone.

Not much more here but at least MSM hazards a guess as to the culprits:

Two explosions hit Londonderry in suspected Irish nationalists attack
Two explosions hit Northern Ireland's second largest city of Londonderry on Thursday in what a police source said were believed to be attacks by dissident Irish nationalists.

Both explosions occurred near government buildings – a tourist office and a welfare office – on the predominantly Catholic west side of the city. Irish Republican Army splinter groups are based in the area and have repeatedly targeted local businesses and police stations with a range of homemade bombs.
