FL - Orlando Teen almost abducted near middle school

ORANGE COUNTY --

Orange County deputies say they are investigating an attempted abduction of a teenager near Liberty Middle School Monday morning.

Deputies said the incident happened in the area South Chickasaw Trail at 6:45 a.m. when a man tried to grab a Colonial High School student at knifepoint. She was able to get away.

Officials said the man then tried to grab another student, but a driver passing by was able to disrupt the attempted abduction.

Officials are on the scene investigating. They said they are still looking for the suspect. No description of the suspect has been released.

Orange County sheriff's deputies are investigating an attempted abduction near two schools.

The incident occurred early Monday in the 3400 block of South Chickasaw Trail near Black Creek Boulevard in Union Park.

Liberty Middle School and Hidden Oaks Elementary School are located in the area. Video from Sky 6 showed numerous deputies in a nearby neighborhood.
 
Wow, he tried to grab a second one after the first one got away?
Usually the first escape will scare him away...
