Shaun Thornhill was last seen on January 23, 2012 at a hotel in St. Francisville. He had traveled south from Richland Parish looking for work on a barge according to his sister Mendy Thornhill Roberts.

Berry and Thornhill each drove the same type of truck and both vehicles were found full of the owner’s possessions.

“They found his truck there,” Roberts said, “and all of his belongings were in it. He has bad vision, and all of his contacts were in his truck – his wallet, keys, cell phone, everything, kind of like the Josh Berry story. Like Josh’s family, we haven’t gotten any hints at all. We thought at the beginning we did, but they all just ended up being nothing.”

Roberts said the overwhelming desire is always to know something, anything, and that support from others who have traveled the same path is important
