The Nebraska State Patrol said 27-year-old Andres Gonzalez told negotiators during Tuesday's standoff that he killed Joshua Bullock, whose burned pickup truck was found by a rancher Dec. 14 near Chadron. The western Nebraska town is about 50 miles north of Alliance, where the pharmacy shootout took place.

Authorities arrested Gonzalez's girlfriend, 19-year-old Rose Siefke, of Hemingford, on a charge of being an accessory to a felony, according to the State Patrol's statement.

The Nebraska State Patrol has announced that they have uncovered human remains in a remote area of Dawes County south of Chadron. The remains are suspected to be those of Josh Bullock, 38, who was reported missing in December. His burned out pickup was found in rural Dawes County two weeks later.

Bullock was reported missing on December 1st. His burned out pickup truck was located December 14th and his body was found in a shallow grave southwest of Chadron in mid-June.

Reading this story is just so saddening. I was in Chadron from East Tennessee for my best high school friend's funeral 7-27-2012 and was too wrapped up in her family and my own grief to even glance at the local news. Prayers for all involved.

Rose Siefke of Hemingford was sentenced Monday to 20 to 60 months in prison for being an accessory to a felony in the death of 38-year-old Josh Bullock.

Prosecutors say Siefke helped her boyfriend, Andres Gonzalez, hide Bullock's body in December 2011. Box Butte County District Court Judge Travis O'Gorman said Siefke, 20, kept quiet about Bullock's death for months. O'Gorman said the sentence is not strong enough but that he does not have the option of ordering more time...

Prosecutors said Siefke helped Gonzales dispose of Bullock's remains in several different locations, including dropping Bullock's head in a Chadron dumpster.
