Linda Pleva was Linda White before her marriage to Ralph Pleva in Nevada in 1971 (source:Ancestry). That this is correct is confirmed by the obituary for Ralph Pleva (https://www.thefreelibrary.com/OBITUARIES.-a0153374956) from 2006. The obituary states that Linda died in 1981. Given the statement of fact and the uncertainty around the date of Linda disappearing the obvious question would be whether Ralph was involved in her disappearance. You would have assumed the date she went missing would be known more precisely to a spouse. Of course, the uncertainty may be due to other factors such as separation at the time. The obituary also gives the names of 2 daughters.

Ralph also filed a petition for divorce in Marion County in August of 1984.

Details of Disappearance​

Pleva was last seen sometime between April and June 1981 in Eugene, Oregon. She has never been heard from again. She is missing under suspicious circumstances and few details are available in her case. Some agencies give the date of her disappearance as June 21, 1981.

<<Linda Rachel Pleva, 31, disappeared sometime between April and the end of June 1981 from Eugene, Oregon. Nothing more frustrating than a case with no info available, anywhere. She was born on July 24, 1949, and on May 27, 1971, in Reno, Nevada, she married Ralph Pleva. While I'm not sure why there's not a definitive date of her missing, its also curious that they are listed as divorced mid June of 1987, and in his obituary in 2006 (he died at age 60), he lists Linda dying in 1981, and her as his wife. It's important to note that after her disappearance, he had fourteen convictions including unauthorized use of a vehicle, theft, forgery, burglary, criminal trespassing, and violating rules, all between 1987- and 2004. Ralph moved a few times a year after 1981. They had two daughters together. Linda was born on July 24, 1949, 5'6", 135 pounds, brown curly hair, brown eyes, a cesarean scar, and a hysterectomy scar. Her maiden name was "White", and she used the alias "Racheal Richardson" (not sure why). 14 people have been excluded, including one male.>>
