Last info on the case was shortly before the lead Det. Death in 2001 when LAPD sent men down into the wells to look around for evidence. Nothing found. Her father is still alive and can give support to DNA if it was truly her blood in the house. There were just so many questions as to the particulars on the case. I as a family member am requesting it be investigated.
I do hope they show this case. It really is an amazing show that has helped other families find their loved ones.

Blessings to you and your family.

I have to say, Disappeared is one of my favorite shows. I was so happy that they covered The Springfield 3. There are so many stories that deserved to be told. I wouldn't know who to nominate. I do wish that they would cover some older cases from the 70's and 80's.
Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them."

I love Disappeared-anyone know when there new season starts?
I would also like to see older stories on there, from 60s-90s more because I feel they are forgotten.
I would have lots of trouble picking just one case to ask them to feature-they all deserve to be on there! But one case that I a, always checking up on is Amy Billigs, and Michael Hughes, son of "Sharon Marshall" who has never been found. These two cases are always on the back on my mind, I'd love to see them featured on Dateline or Disappeared.

The current story of the man from Chicago who was believed to be a recovered kidnapped newborn - only now DNA testing has shown he is not the same child. This poor guy has NO idea who he really is. There are two crimes to consider- the infant abduction from Chicago and the abandoned toddler in NY.

Does anyone know if they are still looking for stories? I just now saw this thread. There is one missing girl from Houston that I would love to see featured on Disappeared since I never did feel that Ali's case got the attention it deserved.

I believe the show was canceled because it's not listed in ID's press release of all shows for the 2013-14 season:

    http://press.discovery.com/us/id/pro...ont-2013-2014/

Or maybe it's just on hiatus? IDK...Seems weird to cancel it...I would figure it would bring in just as good ratings as their other shows?

I really hope it isn't cancelled. Maybe it will come back in the Spring.

If it was cancelled by ID, another channel could pick it up. I know that OWN shows reruns, so that's a possible channel.

A proud happy people, we were here long before the white man came. Stalking along meadow paths, we were used to hunting every day. The rivers gave us fish, The woods even gave us deer and other wild game. Here upon this land, we built our homes, and raised our families. Love was free and natural, as we moved swiftly among the trees. This was a country, It was here that we lived for centuries. Oh I want peace with my soul again. Oh I, I want peace with my soul again. Everyday was new love,. Our village was filled with smiling faces.

    Apparently, it's true.

Could we start a separate thread about this show and the status? If so, where?

Gosh, I hope its not cancelled!

I would love to see episodes about Adrienne Salinas (Tempe, AZ) and Jessica Heeringa (Norton shores, MI), just to name a few! (some others would include Amy Ahonen and Kara Nichols from the Denver, CO area)
