Whitney Houston, superstar of records, films, dies (AP)
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Whitney Houston, who reigned as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, has died. She was 48.

Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unclear.

WOW. I am surprised, but I guess I shouldn't be. I am saddened though, because at one time she was incredible. I do feel bad for her young daughter. :rose:
 
Wow! Another one likely lost to drugs. So sad. :(
 
Wow, I am shocked as well. What a voice she had. RIP, Whitney.

She had the greatest voice, beautiful looks and is gone to young.

Thanks, Whitney...you gave us your heart through your voice, and you will always be remembered...it got bad and hard there at the end, but I know you are singing with God now, and more beautiful music was never made.
