HARLINGEN The mother of Noel Shankle, the Dallas-area man who flew to Harlingen and then disappeared after driving into Mexico two weeks ago, has been contacting everyone she can think of but getting little information.

I actually went to junior high with Noel and some of high school. He is still missing and as far as I know, no new updates. His mother has a missing facebook account for him -

Was Noel ever found? I tried Googling but nothing newer than 2012 came up. I also tried NamUs, since while he disappeared presumably in Mexico, he was a US person, but no, he's not listed there.

The most recent thing I could find was this, which is dated August 2014 and says he's still missing:
