Jack Edwin Granmier is 78 years olllllllllllllllllllllllld. That didn't stop him from prior molestation of a young boy or sending sexually offensive photographs to another boy in Missouri or going to meet the boy in Missouri.

So, he travels from West Virginia to Missouri to molest a kid. He's 78 years old. How long has he been doing this? That kills me about these old *** perverts.

I think the thing that bothers me the most is that "old perverts" started out as "young perverts" and never got stopped in their tracks. Think of the years and years this guy had to offend. Yikes!!
 
I wonder how many young teens that Gravenmier met while snowboarding and alpine skiing? Is there much skiing around Charleston? Possibly, he's traveled a good bit.

Amateur radio license? That's easily the fourth or fifth pedophile that had that for a hobby. I'd posted maybe two. That's weird. Of course it'd be a miniscule number out of all people that have a amatuer radio license, but hey.

Oh he's had to been to Bavaria. Heidi is safe, but Goat Peter isn't.

I guess 500 miles to him is nada.
 
Nobody's going to tell me that Gravenmier didn't get out and about. He's got relatives in Oregon and in New England. What'll you bet that he paid visits to his family and checked out the local boys while at it?

I too was really struck by his age and the number of decades he has probably been doing this, Missizzy. That is what disturbs me so much about a lot of these cases. These people are getting away with these activities for literally most of their lives. It's small consolation that they end up in jail when they are elderly and have already wreaked as much havoc as possible.

The statistics are mind-numbing and heartbreaking. Even with the incredible volume of cases we post here, we are barely scratching the surface of what is happening out there. I must work harder to try and ferret them out.
 
Amazing, people told police as early as the 70's and NOTHING was done. Sickening. The FBI was told twice over a few years by the same person and NOTHING was done. These guys start in their teens so he'd been doing this for probably 60+ years.

I don't understand how family that knows can stand by the relative.
