Looks like we missed Mr. Rayfield. He's got quite the history, doesn't he? How many victims might have been saved if he'd have been locked up years ago? How tragic that earlier victims, who did not receive justice, are compelled to testify concerning later charges.

"A convicted child rapist was sentenced to decades in prison for possession and dissemination of child *advertiser censored*. Gaston County Assistant District Attorney Debbie Gulledge took several minutes to read aloud the 30 charges against Douglas Dalton Rayfield. The 37-year-old Bessemer City man was convicted in January of eight counts of sex crimes against children....."

"....[Superior Court Judge William] Constangy sentenced Rayfield to 22 to 33 years in prison, but that sentence will run concurrent with the one he’s already serving...."

"....While executing the search warrant, Gaston County Police officers found child *advertiser censored* in Rayfield’s bedroom and in two computers that sat in his kitchen. One computer contained 2,791 images of child *advertiser censored*...."

"...In a box in his bedroom Rayfield had pornographic magazines featuring girls who appeared to be underage, videos on flash drives depicting grown men engaged in sex acts with children and DVDs with hundreds of images of the same interaction...."

"....Rayfield was sentenced to 53 to 65 years in prison in his previous trial. Jurors listened to testimony for four days but took less than three hours to find Rayfield guilty of crimes against nature, first-degree statutory sex offense against a child, first-degree statutory rape, disseminating obscene material to a minor and four counts of taking indecent liberties with a child. Rayfield was convicted of molesting a close friend’s daughter in his car, her house and a hotel room from the time she was 8 until she was 12.
