he apparently mistook a jar of gasoline sitting by the kitchen sink for a beverage. After taking a gulp, he spit the gas out and got some on his clothes.

Sometime later, investigators say Banning went outside to smoke a cigarette and burst into flame.

Before this story, I'd always thought some of the stories on 1000WTD were fakes. Now I expect this will be 1001.

Who puts a jar of gasoline next to the sink? Second who picks up the liquid and opens the cap, but can't smell that it's gasoline?

Just a little more chlorine added to the gene pool!

That's what I thought Steely - who puts a jar of gasoline on the kitchen sink and drink it and go about their business.

I wonder if he wasn't really trying to spew and ignite the gas like a fire eater and someone changed the story told to investigators. Gas in a jar sounds like a Fire Marshal Bill set up. Terrible way to die.
