Harry Lanham partnered with Tony Knoppa
Their typical M.0. involved picking up hitchhikers, women in bars, or stranded motorists, transporting them to a vacant house for multiple rapes, after which they were driven into the countryside and shot
He was a tow-truck driver convicted of rape , charged with beating his girlfriend and her five-year-old daughter.

Adele (Gypsy) Crabtree - age 16 - 11/2/1971 Montgomery County, Tx
Linda Faye Sutherlin, age 20, 11/07/1971, Brazoria County, Tx
Convicted on all counts, Lanham got 25 years and Knoppa was sentenced to 50 years
Suspected of raping and murdering Pamela Huebner 22 year housewife who was reported missing July 1971.
Harry Lanham was also indicted for the August 19, 1971 murder of Mrs Delores Foos, 62 of Freemont, Ohio.
Lanham was amused and remarked, "Ain't that a G##D## kick" "That weepy little B#### got more than I did". His partner Tony Knoppa got 50 years in prison.
Lanham who asserted that he was the actual shooter got 25 years in prison however, h attempted to break out of jail holding a knife on a guard. The guard broke free and shot and killed Lanham.
