Goffstown School Locked Down After White Powder Found Suspicious Envelopes Found At

Just google searched this - apparently some are showing up in Dallas area schools also?

Will get links...

Bizarre.

Okay, so we have mysterious envelopes with white powder turning up in north TX at schools and a Texas Instruments facility, at a bank in Birmingham AL, at an art gallery in NYC, and at various schools in New England - in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Maybe more.

W-what?

Apparently all the letters are postmarked in Texas.

Someone down there trying to scare us Yankees? ;)

The FBI analyzed the letters and no hazardous substances were found in any of the envelopes, and no one was injured or became ill after coming into contact with them. They were tested at an FBI laboratory in Quantico, Va.

An unidentified law enforcement official at the time said the envelopes contained a letter referring to al-Qaida and the FBI, and described the white powder as having the look and consistency of cornstarch.

The envelopes were addressed to the schools and not to individuals, and the addresses were printed, the FBI said. Agents said the sending of such letters was a "serious criminal offense."

U.S. authorities have been wary of powdery substances in letters ever since a series of anthrax mailings following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

You sure you aren't one of those Texans I saw with the bumper sticker of the Texas flag that says "SECEDE!" ?? ;)

Soooo... Who in Texas hates New England, Dallas, NY art museums, and Birmingham banks??? :waitasec:

Here's the Neu Galerie.
The mission of the Neue Galerie New York is to collect, preserve, research, and exhibit fine and decorative art of Germany and Austria from the first half of the twentieth century.
Let's see....Germany....Austria....first half of 20th century. Hm. Anything going on in those countries at that time? lolol

Texas grocers really need to think back to who came in and bought a $hitload of cornstarch recently.... :giggle:

Ok, so we have:

Public schools (majority in the NE, with some in Dallas area and a possible in AK)
An art gallery in NYC that specializes in German and Austrian stuff from the early C20
A Birmingham, AL bank
Texas Instruments Facility in Texas
A downtown DC pizzeria
Any others?

I'm stumped as to how they're related.

Still watching the news to see if any new instances come up....
