    DE - Nick Townsend, 23, Fenwick Island, 2 March 2012 - possible foul play

    This is Nick Townsend, he was last seen at around 7am this morning (03/02/12) kayaking in the Bay near route 54 close to Harpoon Hanna's restaurant. The boat was found overturned. If anyone sees or hears from him please contact his family Cheryl Carey Vanderslice, Tony Townsend, Norman Townsend, Flounder Vd S, Brittaney Bree, Alex Townsend, Sharon Carey Grasty, Beverly Parsons, Kimberly Freese or the local authorities. We need to get the word out, so please **REPOST THIS*** for me. They still haven't found him. The search has been resumed, but the Coast Guard is pretty much done. Delaware State Police are using sonar to search under the surface, and there's the possibility of foul play. If anyone knows anything, please contact the Delaware State Police at 302-856-5850. You may also provide a tip by texting keyword “DSP” plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters may also provide information through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.     One canoeist missing; second charged in break-in (capegazette.com)

    Nicholas R. Townsend, 23, and Matthew Bullen, 20, of Fenwick Island were in a canoe at 4 a.m. reported stolen from Fenwick Island, said Cpl. Jeffrey Hale of the Delaware State Police. The canoe tipped over and threw the men into the water.

    Bullen swam to shore but could not locate Townsend, Hale said
