A rare-ish thing in England - a double homicide, two teen girls dead after an apparent row at a flat in West Yorkshire. Not so rare in England: a knife or knives, the instruments of death - both girls were stabbed.

Police found the bodies of two girls named by neighbours as Kim Frank, 17, and Samantha Sykes, 19 after breaking into Kims flat in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, on Saturday morning.
In Kent, hundreds of miles away, police were tipped off by one of three people who had travelled south to Dover.

It is believed Kims sister Elisa, 19, called officers from an address in Dover, Kent.
One of the two teenagers found murdered had only recently moved into her own place after a lifetime in care.
Kim was described by friends as quiet but neighbours said the home where she died alongside Samantha had become notorious for parties and loud music.
One added: Kim was a nice, quiet girl really but the problem was she was easily led, she quite often got herself involved with the wrong crowd.

Miss Sykes lived with her parents and younger brother, Ben, in a more affluent area of the town.
Her parents, Eric and Julie, were yesterday too upset to speak. Forensic officers were continuing to search the property last night for clues to what happened. Daily Mail
