GUILTY CO - Crysta Chisholm, 32, found strangled, Manitou Springs, 12 March 2012

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. -- The El Paso County Coroner's Office has positively identified the body found under a trailer in Manitou Springs as 32-year-old Crysta Chisholm of Colorado Springs.

On Monday, at about 12:40 p.m., a man called the Manitou Springs Police Department to report finding a body underneath a trailer at 15 El Paso Boulevard in Manitou Springs. When officers arrived, they verified the find was a human body, secured the scene and contacted the Sheriff's Office for assistance.

The Coroner has ruled the death as a homicide and the cause of death is still under investigation.

Elvin York told KRDO Newschannel 13 that the trailer belongs to his brother, Howard York. Howard was arrested In February after police said he robbed a Colorado Springs' Papa Murphy's with a machete.

A 45-year-old El Paso County man who strangled a girlfriend and stowed her body under his mobile home was sentenced Tuesday to 48 years in prison.

El Paso County District Judge Larry E. Schwartz imposed the maximum sentence available against Howard Lee York Jr. - calling the murder of Crysta Chisholm "unique in its horror." York had faced 16-48 years under a plea bargain...
