Wait, what does FFJ stand for?
Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

I have never heard of FFJ either. French Fried Jalapenos? Future Farmers of Jersey? French Federation Judo?

The comments on the article have more info than the article itself. Not quoting but to paraphrase:

The missing man rides a burgandy colored motorcycle which is rusty, scratched and dented from an earlier accident. The back rest is torn and the bike has black pipes.

I believe it is Forums for Justice, another forum owned by Tricia.

    http://www.forumsforjustice.org/

ETA: It appears that "Wounded" is Steve's user name there.

Yes, thanks angelmom, FFJ is Tricia's other website. The story of Steve's son's death is there.

That is what I was afraid of. He is one of "ours." Different forum, same purposes and same owner.

    Has anyone notified Tricia?

And I take it that this is his son's case?

JRC in the interests of speeding things up, has a suspect been arrested for the murder? If so what is the status (bond, incarceration?)

JRD I have read enough to see that Steven Jones Jr has offically been called a result of drugs and that Wounded/Steve has been pushing for more arrests on the criminal drug activity. Can you kind of give us a better overview of what has happened, and what has happened recently? Looks like there may be some allegations against the officials too?

That is his son's case, mysteriew, and no one has ever been arrested. Steve has always been very outspoken in person and on the internet.

He has many enemies. I fear the worst.

Our sheriff, James Prince, put something on his facebook page about Steve being a missing person. Anyone can read it.

TX - FFJ member "Wounded" / Steve Jones, 57, Bowie County, 16 March 2012

The Bowie County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in the search for a missing man.

Deputies say no one has heard from Steve Jones, 57.

It would be helpful if someone familiar with the area would link the media sources that would be most likely to have articles/info on the disappearance.

    I already know this one.

Basically the same article, but there are comments on this one.

It looks like people are ready to volunteer for a search.

I'm not familiar with the area, so I googled it.
Liberty Eylau tx - Google Maps

Looks like it is very near the Tx/Ark boarder.

We need someone who is good at writing to write this one up and shop it to the national media stations. Reading at FFJ Wounded lost his son to a drug overdose (meth.) He then began to work to rid the area of meth. In the process it looks like he may have run up against some officals in office. So national attention may be helpful here.
