Canada - Debra Zettel, 56, Hanover, Ont, 22 March 2012

    http://www.thestar.com/news/article/...-accident?bn=1

Woman missing after minor car accident

No one knows what caused Debra Zettel to have a minor car crash and go off the road between Hanover and Neustadt around 3 a.m. on Thursday.

No one knows why the Hanover-area resident known for her love of staying home was standing on the road a short time later.

No one knows what happened in the five minutes between when one truck driver swerved by her and another came by and saw no one.

This seems really strange! It's hard to fathom why she would even be driving out there at 3 am unless someone else was with her (such as an abductor). Maybe she had a chance to try and flag someone down but the person grabbed her back, that's why the second truck didn't see her.
I'm sure we aren't hearing the whole story.

without other cars involved, an animal could have caused her to swerve, was her car badly damaged, was it dark, was the road well lit?..

Perhaps she banged her head in the accident and suffered a concussion?

I wonder if it could have been a suicide? Especially after the sister-in-laws daughter said 'she seemed happier than she had in days'.
    RIP Debra

I'm wondering if she had a head injury or was in shock. I know it seemed like a minor accident, but I know of several people who have died in low speed collisions, one as slow as 5mph. They hit their head just the wrong way.

Or, perhaps she was having a health crisis and was driving herself to the hospital and that caused both the accident and her death, an aneurysm or a heart attack. That would explain her being out at 3am
