Actually, if that report is right and it was 7:52 - its only 35 minutes after the shooting.

    7:17 to 7:52 is 35 minutes.

    Wow.

ETA - 36 minutes if you want to go with the 7:16 time of the shot. I just can't get over how tight the timeline in this case is.

Well see........the thing about "outlawed hoodies" is they WERE NOT OUTLAWED where TM was............but it does deflect from the video and the no bruising or signs of a struggle on TM and GZ's father's outlandish story and...........
If there's hink....there must be stink.

DID GZ say he grabbed his hair? if he did then it would be interesting to see how that happened.

I do think the kid was scared, I also think the kid was not going to show he was scared.
IMHO The kid showed a rebellious side, but I canít say that GZ was not hot headed at all, I think he was.
But I donít think he set out to kill anyone. I do think it was aggravated manslaughter or something like that, negligent homicide maybe.
But some charge should be made, and GZ can claim self defense and hopefully get the right verdict.
Do I believe for one second this kid was squeaky clean. NO WAY.
How many people of died because things have gotten out of hand. All that was required from the very first time GZ saw TM was a respectful question..."do you live here son?" or "You're getting wet, do you need a ride home?" It's all in the approach. If you are going to approach someone, anyone, you owe them the respect of doing so civilly even if he's just a kid. jmo

This was quick. I said last night, when we were discussing the screams on the 911 call. That one call covers 40 seconds of screaming before the gunshot. And I think that had to have been most, if not all, of the fight. The woman called when she heard the first scream and I guess was connected pretty fast - and there's 40 seconds of screaming then the gun shot.

From all the versions now of GZ's story - not a single one of them fits into that tight timeline - not a one.

    JMHO
Thank you for the timeline summary!

I'm not certain there was any wrestling, we do know from a 911 call - there was at least 35+ seconds of screaming before the shooting. Did GZ mistake TM's cell phone for a gun in the dark and pulled out his own in response?

Is it just me, or does GZ appear to be extremely calm and collected for someone who was just in a life or death struggle and shot someone to death in that video?

For someone who is suffering PTSD, crying for days and unable to sleep or eat, he is amazingly together 35 minutes after the incident....almost non chalant IMO JMHO and stuff

I know that I'm not using technical terms but I hope you understand what I am asking, and also is it possible that maybe there would be skin or dna caught around where that slide is to show that is what happened?

Just rambling, it might not even be possible or anything.
It takes some force to stop the slide from moving. Of course GZ could have returned to gun to safe position and take the bullet out of chamber. Ranch and I were arguing about that last nite. I thought that it takes quite a cool and collected character to remember that after you just killed a teenager. And Ranch rewarded me with "Do you know the way to San Jose" but that is another story.:floorlaugh

Since Zimmerman was supposedly going to the store when he saw Trayvon and not on "patrol" does the HOA have any responsibility. I assume they will be sued but I don't know about their liability. Hope they have good insurance.

I bet you can get a townhome there cheap though...

No, she tried to call him back. She did not know what happened just that he did not call back. I don't she ever imagined someone had killed him. jmo

    Passion, nobody said he was.

We were discussing the fact that one of our poster's children got in trouble at school yesterday for wearing a hood up.

We were discussing the fact that a lot of banks and schools do not allow hoods up for security reasons.

Had nothing to do with TM's hoodie.

A non owner who doesn't share in this potential liability will come back to haunt this community before it's all over, IMO. Concealed carry permit or not, he should never have been allowed on the common grounds of these owner's homes with a loaded gun.

George Zimmerman, as a non owner has exactly ZERO shared liability with this association. THAT'S why he couldn't walk around with a loaded gun in the gated community where I live in central Florida. As I said last night, the O sandwiched between the H and the A doesn't stand for renter.

I love your post about this HOA and what happened. As far as I'm concerned, an HOA is a community with-in a community. I know neighborhood watches are volunteer situations, BUT...this guy was carrying a gun. Did the HOA get his liability ins. papers for insurance purposes since he was an outsider and not an owner? Catch my drift?

IMO, I think the guy just got paranoid and a little gun happy. Too much of this violence on innocent people going on. It needs to stop.
