Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

I think it would be interesting to do a study on the 911 calls we see. Which seem to adhere to the lying criteria and which turn out to be guilty.

Very interesting!! Those points given in the article are some of the reasons we have seen so many 911 call tapes not released until trial for the last few years. I first started noticing it with the Casey Anthony case.

    Thanks for posting the article.

    detecting deception

recent news article about detecting Deception ...

Philip HOUSTON (formerly of the CIA's Office of Security) was once the leading expert in "deception detection", or the fine art of telling when people are lying or hiding the truth. HOUSTON was one of the lead specialists who created CIA techniques designed to spot lies and interviewing strategies to get people to confess. He has written a book designed to make his CIA deception detection techniques understandable to average people, called:
"Spy the Lie: Former CIA Officers Teach You How to Detect Deception"
